Weird question...the figure of the girl behind you with the guitar....I got it off of Temu (I'm a low budget collector)....what is she from? Also, I pre-ordered 2 figures from Amazon (Alpha and Beta from Eminence in Shadow)....was originally told delivery May first....now it's July 16th 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️....the new kitty is cute!!!

Kotobukiya recently announced that they're launching an official US site next year and I'm so excited! As figure prices and shipping costs keep going up I've had to really cut back on collecting too, and I've come to the realization that the majority of the time Kotobukiya tends to come out with my favorite scale figure designs for popular series and the value and quality are always amazing. Keeping this in mind I've been skipping other figure manufacturers (except for a couple male lewds from Native) because I had to make a big change and draw a line somewhere. If they can match their figure prices in yen or at least compete with other local stores import mark-ups, the reduced shipping costs should make a big difference in overall costs for me and make me feel so much better about continuing to be a figure collector. I'm also hopeful their official store will give us the opportunity to get those bonus alternative heads they do with some figures. 🤞 I am basically a nendoroid and Kotobukiya scale only collector at this point 😅. MegaHouse really makes it tough with all their nice Digimon figures tho 🥲. I'm sad you're probably going to cancel Kuroo and Kenma but totally get it if they're not your favorites. Kuroo and Kenma actually ARE my favorites and I bought some wall scrolls of the illustrations the figures are based on way before the figures were announced, so I've been going like feral waiting to get my hands on them ever since they were announced. 😤 Especially after seeing the nice acrylic base on Hinata's figure, which was the only thing I was concerned about. I'm putting Kageyama and Hinata in my office next to my Haikyu manga volumes and can't wait to add Kuroo and Kenma to my Kuroo/Kenma shrine. 😍❤

I did get the nendoroid of that last Miku to go with the Korin one. Planning a combined display for them involving a black basin and beads to look like water, and some fake foliage or structures. I do want the scale, but I'm also gambling it'll go down as the price is high. After the Land of the Eternal went down right after release, as well as some others, I felt traditional clothing Mikus aren't a risk to wait on. Maybe I'll go for it anyway since it's based on a real piece of art. Especially since I love kimonos. And it comes out around my birthday, too. I don't know if I want any really lewd or naked figures like Native. I have my eye on one, but mostly because it's a cute fox girl; name is Mellow. I just wouldn't want anyone to turn her around and look up; yes it's detailed, but you can only see it from a very specific angle. As for my preorders, buckle up because it's long: The Tomotake Yoshino one came in, and I think the base ended up impressing me. It was the catalyst for me collecting figures again, and it finally showed up after being delayed for 8 months. I can at least say it looks my style, being a very cute shrine maiden in a very pretty outfit. Glad I preordered; I did it early when it was lower, and now it's gone up about 10k yen. Sagisawa Fumika from Idolmaster hasn't arrived yet. I mostly wanted a chill book-themed figure, and I liked the character's vibe. I'm a weirdo who's drawn to shy bookworm girls. Wakamo. I've seen photos. I've seen videos. It looks great. I am collecting fox girls, especially ones in anything that looks remotely kimonoish. I'm glad I preordered. Elizabeth from Persona 3 Reload is shipped. Persona is either third or fourth on my list of favorite game series, and to me Elizabeth is a huge representative. I love how this one has all the tarot cards detailed and floating around her. Hua Hu - Mo Li by Animester. See Wakamo, fox girl. This one has the sexy allure while having a detailed scroll for a base. Very pretty. Hakurei Reimu by Solarain. I wanted a Reimu, then this one went up for preorder. I'm a fan of Touhou from back in the day, and Reimu was a favorite character. This one has a bit more of an older charm, so I like it more than the others. Also shrine maiden. If it's a fox girl or a shrine maiden I'm probably getting it (bonus if it's both). Rosuuri's White Rabbit. I was tempted to get at least one bunny figure, so I ended up with this one since it was cheaper than others. I also have a thing for figures with good body sculpts while not going full swimsuit, underwear or naked. They might be a bit more... extra, or meaty, or just impossibly sexy but I think in figures they look artistic. Especially when done well. I also found this one to be more cute. This one might delay to August, apprently. Kamisato Ayaka from Genshin. I am an Ayaka simp. That is all. Tingyun from Honkai Star Rail. See fox girls. Xiami Da Wu Wang in a China Dress. Glasses, very extra body sculpt with a qipao to show it off, and a beautiful base. And the price was very low for a 1/7th of this quality. This one might get canceled, and not by my hand; apparently based off a figure RUclipsr, she is involved in a scandal and the manufacturer may stop production. Might be limited to preorders, though. Still want it for all the reasons I listed. Fu Xuan from Honkai: Star Rail. I think this is one of the more beautiful characters from the game, despite having the smaller body type. The figure looks gorgeous, though. Dusk: Everything is a Miracle by FuRyu. This is the Dusk I wanted; dragon girl in a beautiful qipao. It looks gorgeous. Ying Swei: Snowy Pine's Warmth from Azur Lane. This was also a figure I preordered early on. It's a winter figure, it's beautiful, it has a full base, the character has a purple theme, and the character is pretty. It's a lot of things I want. A new one because of price: Ronin from Falslander. I like my samurai, katanas, and cyberpunk is a cool genre. Decided to go for it. Thank you if you read all this and have a response. I’ve got so many preorders in the next few months, there’s a bunch I’m excited for, 3 are actually in July, the Bombergirl Aloe Grim by Wing, the Megumin Black Rose dress by FuRyu, and the Albedo restraint by Kadokawa, also I can’t wait to get Run & Risa by Union Creative, because then I’ll have that entire Darkness line complete. Then Kyouka Uzen by FuRyu, Beta by Kadokawa, Narberal Gamma by Alter, Hina by Good Smile, Hanekawa/Black Hanekawa by Union Creative. Think they’re the ones I’m most excited for this year.

Native does seem to allow for PO transfer, I got two PO off of two different people just recently. So next time, if they don't let you cancel, you can try that route. Easier logistically speaking than having to sell after the fact. I do need a Liz Marin in my life, the real hard choice is between Spiritale and Alter. On the one hand, Alter have already dropped and have a history of high quality. On the other hand, I think Spirtale's pose is better. I ultimate took a bit of a gamble and waiting for Spirittale, hopefully this works out. Buying a house technically does improve your financial standing. It is functionally an investment. Wedding on the other hand....
